We asked Debbie from A Quilter’s Table to share an Inspiring Quilter every day in January. Debbie took her first quilting class twenty-five years ago, discovered the modern quilting movement in 2009 and delights us with everything she shares at A Quilter’s Table. Debbie’s one to follow in social media (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Flickr and more); she shines attention on so many quilters and she is complementary, positive and supportive of others in the sewing community. Debbie is also quite generous, sharing instructions and inspiration on her site so others can learn to do what she does so well. 2013 was a BIG year for Debbie; she hosted lots of sew-alongs, she was published and, of course, Debbie completed many beautiful quilts. Just look at what she accomplished in December alone!
Every day this month we’ll share a new Inspiring Quilter. Debbie’s first quilter is Erica of Kitchen Table Quilting.
Debbie writes, “What first drew me to Kitchen Table Quilting was Erica’s use of color and pattern. I find myself mesmerized when I see she’s posted a new finish, wondering to myself if I would ever use her chosen fabrics together, yet they are always right on and so striking. I love that she makes me think outside my typical fabric box. Erica also has a Tips & Tutorials tab that has some awesome projects that show off her special style.”
