Molli Sparkles is a classically trained point and shoot photographer and self-taught, ex-novice quilt maker setting out to make the world a shinier place. He has been quilting just over a year and a half, lives with his partner, Mr. Sparkles, in Sydney, Australia, and he writes, “I’m not afraid to tell it like it is.”

Visit Molli Sparkles for the “Sunday Stash with Molli Sparkles” link-up and the No Girls Allowed Quilt Bee. You can also see lots of finished quilts, tutorials for things like this fantastic Union Jack block and thought-provoking posts in the We Are $ew Worth It series. Molli Sparkles is up next with a post that elaborates on the discussion about how to place a value on your quilting.

Hi Molli, amazing what we are worth blog! I have never really considered costing nor even sitting down and trying to work it out. Far too much maths for my head. But I must say you have certainly given me food for thought. I am thinking next year to start a Etsy store. Must try and find a great place to sell my nick nacks too help my crafting budget work out better. Being a pensioner I am already starting to restrict my crafting budget so much more due to our current policital climate. If you have any worth while suggestions I would love to hear from you.

I reside in Adelaide and have limited good fabric places to shop at. I no longer shop at spotlight the quality in our store is no longer their and I get higher quality fabrics sometimes a little cheaper at my fabric store. Love your blog hope to hear from you. Happy quilting Julie.
