Sew Sweetness Bag Contest Winners

We had thousands of people vote in our Sew Sweetness Bag Contest! Our contest was a celebration of Sara Lawson’s new Big-City Bags: Sew Handbags with Style, Sass, and Sophistication, and it was a hit with many gorgeous bag entries. Bags could be made with one of the book’s 12 all-new patterns or with any of the tutorials or patterns at Sew Sweetness. Some of the entries even used Sara’s free Kennedy Bag pattern here at Sew Mama Sew!

So many people commented on how difficult it was to select favorites from the bags. The top fifteen finalist entries were all quite impressive! Our winners today are:

  5. Congratulations to the winners… Gorgeous bags!!

Thank you so much for hosting a great contest. All of the other bags were so amazing, that I was surprised (and thrilled!) to get a runner’s up prize! Interestingly, I had a horrible snap setter that gave me such problems when I made Sara’s wallet pattern… so winning the snap setter is AWESOME! Huge thanks to you, Sara Lawson & all of your sponsors!
