Softies + Toys We Love: Fabric Boats

on February 22 | in Featured Creativity | by | with 1 Comment

Do you need a quick bit of sewing to brighten your weekend? Make a softie or a toy! We have tons of Softie + Toy patterns and tutorials. Every day we’re also featuring a softie or toy pattern from some favorite designers. Today’s toy is from Irina of Sew and the City:

These cute, little fabric boats are easy to make and fun to play with. Irina writes, “I think they make a perfect gift for a little boy, and can be attached to the buggy with a plastic link, used as a mini cushion or as a rattle if you decide to put a bell inside. You can use up those little pieces of fabric which are two big to throw away, but too small to use in a bigger project.”

(We also really like the Letter Shaped Cushions tutorial at Sew and the City…)

Hi , I was wondering if you have a pattern for a softie airplane? I would like to make a mobile for my new grandsons arrival.
    Thanks , Gweny
