This giveaway is now closed. Thanks!

Candy Glendening of Candied Fabrics has shared a lot with Sew Mama Sew readers over the years, like her informative Beginning Fabric Dyeing tutorial and her post about Fabric Dyeing Resources. Today Candy is celebrating the release of her second DVD workshop with Quilting Arts, with a Free-Motion Machine Sketching Giveaway!

This latest workshop is all about Candy’s free motion machine sketching. She shows you how to free motion machine sketch 12 of her favorite motifs, and then she walks you through the process of creating a fabric sketchbook. Candy is an expert at free motion machine sketching, a technique she utilizes in her tablet sleeves (pictured below), quilts and more!

Candy is giving away a DVD copy of the workshop and she’s also machine sketching Queen Anne’s Lace for the winner. (We picked a favorite flower!) Your comment below through 3/28 enters you to win. Just tell us about your sewing plans for the weekend…

Candy has some free downloads on the Quilting Daily site for a Free Motion Quilting Sampler Book (pages shown above) and Hanging Organizer Baskets, and you can also see a workshop preview in the video below.

Visit other tour stops for more chances to win a copy of the video workshop. If you would like to improve your free motion machine sketching skills you won’t want to miss out on this wonderful opportunity to learn from Candy!

I am using a sampler quilt for free-motion quilting practice. I am planning a different design to be quilted in each block. For some blocks it is easier to decide how to quilt. My studio currently has rubbermaid boxes for storage and with my arthritis I can no longer access my insanely gigantic stash.
