Introducing ~ Shea from Empty Bobbin Sewing Studio

on March 2 | in Board & Contributors | by | with 1 Comment

Shea Henderson of Empty Bobbin Sewing Studio and Empty Bobbin Sewing has a fun sewing technique for you, coming up next!

Shea is a former middle school math teacher turned sewing pattern designer; she finds the two careers are, surprisingly, not so different from each another! Shea owns Empty Bobbin Sewing Studio, a print and digital sewing pattern business, and she blogs at Empty Bobbin Sewing. Shea has a great passion for teaching sewing to “complete beginners!” Her work has been published in Modern Quilts Unlimited and Quilts & More magazines, and she is a contributor to the book Modern Baby. Her first book, School of Sewing, will be published in September 2014 with Lucky Spool Media.

Shea lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her husband and three young children. Find more from Shea on Instagram, Twitter and be sure to head over to the Empty Bobbin Sewing blog for all the latest on Shea’s work, including more info on her new book.
