Molly and Mama is a blog, a business, a store and more! Lauren Wright is the designer behind every Molly and Mama piece, project and pattern. She writes, “I’m inspired to share the imagination and the excitement of childhood with my unique and original kids’ clothes, accessories, home décor, appliqué templates and more.” Lauren has lots of new, hand drawn applique templates for raw edge fabric appliqué coming out soon, and she’s always working on her free Molly and Mama tutorials.

From Lauren:
Molly and Mama is named for my grandmother Molly and my own mother (whom my kids call Mama). There’s a little bit of Molly and Mama in every piece and pattern I create; after all, they’re the two amazing women who inspired my love of all things creative and encouraged me to follow my dreams.

The Molly and Mama journey began in 2011 and the business has grown and evolved, allowing me to stretch my creativity every day. I feel very blessed knowing that I can work from my home, be supported by my family and be there for my children.

The window in my small town Aussie studio looks out across the park, to the swaying gum trees and cow filled paddocks beyond. I can tell you that inspiration comes easily here. There’s so much more in store for this little sewer and her big creative dreams. I’d love for you to join in the journey.
