This giveaway is now closed. Thanks!

It’s time for another look at the Oakshott Lipari Patchwork Tote Challenge! We found our six challengers through the contributor’s newsletter. (Sign up to be the first to know about future fabric and pattern challenges!) Teresa of Dandelion Drift, Anjeanette Klinder, Jennifer of Sewplicity, Megan of Monkey Beans, Erin of Seamstress Erin and Michelle of Falafel and the Bee each used at least six colors from the Oakshott Lipari collection to create an original patchwork tote. Here are totes from Michelle, Megan, Teresa and Erin. We have just two more totes to share this week!

Jennifer from Sewplicity stepped outside of her comfort zone to incorporate quilting in her tote, and she also added a faux black leather base and these gorgeous rolled leather handles. Jennifer even shared a really great tutorial for How to Attach Rolled Leather Handles at Sewplicity!

She writes, “Prior to this challenge, I was not familiar with this line of fabric, but now that I am I have to say… I AM IN LOVE! Aside from the beautiful rich colors, this cotton fabric has this gorgeous sheen to it that is just amazing! I couldn’t wait to start working with it.” Jennifer even managed to use all of the Lipari colors in her tote!…

What a marvelous bag and absolutely luscious fabrics!! It helps to see fabrics used in a bag or quilt, rather than just slivers in a stack. A person can really appreciate the colors and the texture with a finished product. Thank you for the opportunity!!
