Fiona has a binocular bag tutorial coming up next, perfect for your favorite bird lover! First learn a little more about Fiona in her introduction…
I’m Fiona, a Scot living just across the border in the northeast of England. I blog at Celtic Thistle Stitches where I post about my sewing, crafting and travels. I am happiest when making things for my family and I am delighted that my three grown-up sons are now making requests for items that they think I could “just run up.” So far, I am pleased to say that I haven’t let them down yet!
In an effort to be more organized with my crafting this year I also co-host, with Paula from Mud, Pies and Pins, the monthly Ho, Ho, Ho and on We Sew Link Party. As well as tutorials for Christmas and holiday crafts we have a monthly giveaway for linkers. Come join us on the 18th of the month to be in with a chance of winning whilst reducing the stress of Christmas and holiday crafting!
I love to try out new things, with mixed success I sometimes have to admit. In an effort to celebrate the trying, whether successful or not, I host a monthly Link Party, New to Me, on the 25th of every month where encouragement and/or congratulations is the order of the day. The range of experiences my fellow bloggers have tried is a constant source of inspiration, ranging from raising chickens to trying out free motion quilting for the first time. If you have tried out something new, link up and join the celebration.
My most recent “New to Me” was my first ever baby quilt, made for my recently arrived great-nephew; it combined my two favorite things, making for family and trying something new!
