Introducing Jessica from Quilty Habit

on June 1 | in Board & Contributors | by | with Comments Off

Jessica Skultety from Quilty Habit is a self-taught quilter in her mid-twenties. She impulsively decided to make a t-shirt quilt four years ago and now she’s so proud to be part of the modern quilting community, both in person and online! Jessica focuses on unique color combinations, original contemporary designs and home machine free-motion quilting.

Jess can usually be found blabbing about fabric, works-in-progress and the occasional finished quilt on her blog and on Instagram. Check out Jess’s popular posts on Why You Should Visit Your Modern Quilt Guild, The Joy of Making and Who is the Modern Quilter? You can also watch her tutorials page for FMQ tutorials and learn more about Jessica’s quilt-alongs. This summer, Jessica plans to dabble in clothing and bag-making for the first time.

Jess serves as President and webmaster of the Central Jersey Modern Quilt Guild. She’s an educator by day, and her dream is to teach people of all ages to sew and quilt. Jess curated a daily “My Favorite Quilt” series for us this month which you will love! Look for the first post coming up next…

Home, Jessica’s most recent quilt.
