Jill from Snugglebug University has a small soft toy tutorial coming up next. She sells patterns and printables in her shop, and loves to create new things every day…

From Jill: I love to create, to make things, and to challenge myself with new techniques. I’m inspired by printing on fabric, paper art and wood. I’m a scientist by training, a mostly stay-at-home mom by day and a designer at heart. I have a difficult time turning off my brain, so you’ll often find me wide awake at night planning my next creative pursuit.

My grandmother taught me to sew in elementary school after I begged her to help me sew clothes for my dolls. I spent every Sunday afternoon at her house, mostly ripping out my ugly seams. I treasure the memories of those days and the life lessons that I learned from those afternoons.

These days, I blog about my creative pursuits at my relatively new blog, snugglebuguniversity.com. I like to make things for and with my kids, probably because I’m really an eight year old at heart. Some of my most popular blog posts have been the Home Sweet Home Backpack I made for my daughter, my Butterfly Wings tutorial and my little Felt Bunny tutorial.

I sell some of my patterns and printables in my pattern shop. In addition to my blog, you can find me on Facebook and Pinterest.
