In sunny Brisbane, Australia we are in the mid of Winter and we have had some unusually cold weeks, the apparent temperature has been below 0 more times than I remember it being in the past few winters… I’d be wearing my foxglove under a cardi for the next month, and then it would get a run for around 10 months in it’s full glory :-)

  75. Kennis says:

I would love to win a copy of this pattern! I live in Costa Rica, so it’s not exactly summer here. There are only “dry season” (occasional rain) and “green season” (rain almost everyday). Currently it’s the “green season”, so I do need to have the fans on all the time so things don’t start to mold. But I do love the rain; it makes the landscape unbelievably bright green. Temperature is pretty constant around 75 F here, so the Foxglove pattern would make a perfect top here! I would also make shorts to go with the top. But it does look great with jeans too.

  76. Annette says:

Down in Texas we just had the coolest couple of days in decades, it’s been lovely. :) The heat is coming back next week though.

  83. Heather says:

It is HOT HOT HOT here right now! And smoky from forest fires that are surprisingly far away, considering how much smoke they’re sending over.

We have 1 fan, and I plug and unplug it and it follows me all over the house! And, I look forward to work a little more because of the AC!

  84. Gill Turner says:

  111. Jenny says:

    Nice hemline! Cute, summery top.

  115. San says:

The weather here is sticky and hot and humid, but we’ve been getting regular thunderstorms, which helps. I live in Florida and I swim to keep cool, but now I’m thinking of fall, when I will need a whole new wardrobe because I’m having hand reconstruction surgery and not allowed to have buttons, snaps, zippers, or hooks, or even elastic waisted anything! 139. Faye Lewis says:

Living in the deep, deep south, most days have been hot, hot, hot, however; not totally with out reprieve. Most days we’re blessed with late afternoon showers, or should I say thunder boomers that tend to cool us off a little bit. Thankfully I’ve worked in an overly air conditioned building that keep it so cool, that I actually have to go outside just to warm up several times a day. Please enter me in your contest, I’d love to have the pattern.

We are in the middle of winter here in Australia. What started as a warm winter has recently got cold (by our standard). I am surviving by spending less time in the outrigger canoe and more time in the gym or running in the middle of the day when it is warmer.

It’s 100 at home so we have escaped to the Smokey Mountains for 2 weeks! It’s raining but oh so pretty. Who new we would have a summer polar vortex and it would be in the 60’s?

  158. Sandra Wilson says:

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE this pattern! I’d need to make it quite snappy though – the summers don’t last long in Scotland! Although, it would be great for my holidays in Florida in October! :)

  159. Mama Lusco says:

It is warm and dry here on eastern OR. Love this top!

  160. Kristin H says:

It’s been really quite hot (for the area) the last couple of weeks and now we’re getting smoke from forest fires. I suppose it’s just a good excuse to stay inside and sew!

  161. Larissa says:

So far it’s hot-pleasant, mostly. It’s been pretty toasty some days, but nothing unbearable. That generally comes in August.

  162. Susie Wartnick says:

Can you believe I don’t own a single tank top? I need this pattern.

  163. LisaInCT says:

Such a cute tank! Here in CT (USA) we get hot humid weather. I stay in air conditioning, cause I am NOT a fan of humidity! Looking forward to cooler days so I can open the windows!

  164. Karen says:

Hot, Hot, Hot, here in Colorado! Staying cool in the evenings with my puppies.

  165. I love that back hemline!
    Thanks for the giveaway,
    Jacqueline in Pitt Meadows

  166. We are having a “not quite polar vortex” here, which means it’s not in the 90’s, yay!! It’s been cool and crisp the past couple of evenings … and bearable during the days. Kind of perfect, really.

  167. Pauline says:

I live on Vancouver Island, BC Canada and my weather has been very pleasant especially since I live beside the sea. In Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, BC mainland, where my daughters and their families live it is very very hot. If I win this pattern I will make all 3 of us one of the gorgeous Foxglove tops. To keep cool I always wear cotton and outside I wear a sunhat and/or try to keep in the shade.
Thanks for the chance to win this lovely pattern

  168. Chloe says:

I have just moved from very cold Tasmanian winter to very comfortable Sydney winter – singlet/tank patterns will be needed before very much longer, it gets hot here!

  169. Bonnijean Marley says:

This is a really cute pattern. I could put it to good use.

  170. Elle says:

I’m am in the middle of a rather pleasant Canadian summer. It’s sunny and hot, but not too humid. A racerback tank would be perfect!

  171. Rebecca Headd says:

I’m in London UK and it is baking like 32c which is huge for us. I worked myself up into a sweat just doing 10 mins on the overlocker, phew!

  172. Vickie says:

I have the perfect fabric for this!!

  173. Pam Sherman says:

I have been having trouble getting back in the groove to sew. I love this top! I know I could make it.

  174. Teresa Block says:

We’ve had unseasonably “cool” temps so far this summer in north Texas (especially today!), but layering with a tank is still perfect attire. Plus its a great way to display som of the amazing fabrics on you body instead of in a quilt!

  175. Meredith says:

The foxglove tank is too cute! I am currently sweltering in the humid SC heat, but will be moving to VA next month! Hopefully it’s a few degrees cooler up there…nevertheless, this tank will be appropriate for almost any climate!

  176. Anita says:

The weather in the San Francisco Bay Area where I live has been pretty pleasant this summer. We’ve had a few really hot days but mostly it has been pleasant.

  177. Brooke says:

Weather in Colorado is surprisingly wet this summer. To stay comfortable, I’ve been taking me little ones (4 and 2) to the creek and to fun little water “fountains” around the city. Been looking for a fun tank pattern. This one looks GREAT!

  178. Becca says:

I haven’t been loving the weather but I haven’t had a chance to go the beach yet. Maybe that would change my mind. This is a great series. Thanks for sharing.

  179. Cyndi says:

Weather here has been strange- bouncing from upper 90’s to low 60’s.

  180. Carolyn says:

It is hot, hot, hot as I am in FL but I love it and wouldn’t change it even if I could.

  181. Charlotte says:

It’s been cooler than normal but still too hot for me.
