Kelley Gilbert from Casa Crafty is back with a look at Fall Sewing Trends in the online sewing community. Are you sewing for yourself this month?!

Kelley can be found on Etsy, Instagram, Facebook and she always has something new (and fun!) at Casa Crafty.

We are entering that time of year when we start to create for gifting, holidays, and entertaining. It’s a hectic time of year. Maybe this months inspirations will help you take a time out for yourself, and a little outfit sewing to boot!

Leggings

Try out some awesome leggings to go with your skirts! Here are a few projects to inspire you:

Skirts

It is now well and truly fall in the Northern hemisphere! With the colder weather, out come the pants, jackets and boots. However, let’s not forget how versatile a skirt can be!

Creating the Gap: Cobalt Blue, Very Purple Person: Denim Skirt, Four Square Walls: Jupe Chardon, Where Heather Grows: Chardon

Archers

You don’t have to wear only skirts… What about a tunic or a really fab button up? I’ve seen a lot of Archers popping up. Will you make one?

I’m currently making an Archer! I love the plaids, but mine is in a lightweight denim.

I’ve seen a lot of Archers too and most if them are a second or third renditions. What about this pattern is causing such devotion?
