It’s easy to spend a lot of time at Sara’s Radiant Home Studio, looking at her latest sewing projects, kid projects and more. Sara has a new design for you next, but first we hope you take a look at her patterns and at Radiant Home Studio. Sara’s creative energy is expressed in a number of ways, from fabric design to free tutorials. Take a look!

From Sara: I’m a wife and homeschooling mother of six children. I love all types of creative work and frequently experiment with sewing, crafting, printing, art, and design. My mom taught me the basics of sewing and reading a pattern, and I’ve been sewing ever since. In college I worked on hand stitched projects while my friends were out shopping. As a newlywed I spent hours pouring over craft and sewing books from the library learning proper sewing technique and how to fit and draft patterns, among other things.

A couple of years ago, out of necessity, I made a bag to carry all of our kids’ water bottles. A few people asked about it, and I began working on my first digital sewing pattern. It was the hardest creative work I have ever done, but I also loved it! Since then I have created two more bag sewing patterns, written a couple of guest post tutorials, and contributed a pattern to Stitch magazine. (Coming out in the Winter 2015 issue!)

I released the Coastal Tote pattern a few weeks ago, and I’d like to offer Sew Mama Sew readers 25% off my new pattern with coupon code “sewmamasew14” through Oct. 31st.
