    since all my family is in australia and i’m in the US, I usually try and get a jump on my christmas shopping/making in July ;-). I just have one two more gifts to take care of for my aus family and then I am done! For my family in the US (ie, my kids), I haven’t started to think about that yet!

One more baby doll quilt to do and a few more hats. I like the looks of that apron. If I make one, I’d have to make about 10 because all my adult female family members would want one.     I’ve completed 2 of the 3 afgans on my Christmas list. But I haven’t even started on my hand sewn projects. This apron might need to make it on the list.

    I never realized what a treasure an “apron” could be until I came across one from my
    grandmother stored in a box of “things.” It brought back how “simple” something that
    spoke so much just by being there could have. I now will make them not only for myself but my granddaughter, and my daughter-in-laws.

    I love the apron! The pictures look fun too! I’ve been busy since last December getting ready for this year! I make thing all through out the year…. I usually like to be in the home stretch by September…. I learned a long time ago to finish early, you never know what kind of third could happen! That and I enjoy the holidays so much more when I’m not in a panic over finishing things!
