Nordic Patterns is back with another free pattern for you to download and sew! Teddy Bear Overalls were for the little ones, and this Varsity Shirt/Sweatshirt works for tweens through adults. Nordic Patterns is a new online store for sewing patterns at hosted by one of the leading handicraft communities in Scandinavia, Suuri Käsityö magazine.

Nordic PatternsNordic Patterns currently offers printable sewing patterns, and they’re also excited about their upcoming spring knitting collection launch! Take a look at the full Nordic Patterns line-up for children, women and men, with stylish accessories too. Note that Nordic Patterns sizes are EU, but you can find detailed instructions for conversion plus size charts here.

    I’m confused. At the Nordic Pattern site, this pattern is being offered for sale at 4.90 Euros. Why is it that you have it for FREE? Please clear this up for me. I wouldn’t feel right downloading it without more information. Thanks!

    Hu? this shirt was published with exactly the same pic in “Knip”, a dutch sewing-magazine. I think it was a number in 2014, maybe in october or november. do they publish their patterns in magazines like that or are they designing for magazines?

    I love Scandinavian style, but these pattern instructions don’t look very clear. These are Burda- style instructions. Where does the front triangle go, and what’s an inner neckline? Maybe you can do a tutorial!
