Cindy Guch is the designer behind Raspberry Sunshine, and she just debuted her first handbag pattern this year. Cindy primarily sews handbags and other small accessories, and she also creates custom designs. Cindy designed the Spring Fling Handbag as a smaller option perfect for taking on dates and to parties, for teens or for… You! The fabric for this pretty version is from the Violette collection by Amy Butler, which you can find at Quilt Sandwich Fabrics.

The Spring Fling Handbag is a good project for a confident beginner, and easily customizable for sewists with more advanced skills. With just one yard of fabric you can welcome spring with a new bag! Stop by Raspberry Sunshine and the Raspberry Sunshine Shop for more from Cindy (like her January freebie pattern!).

Happy Sewing!

    Hi Katie!

What were your print settings at? Printing it at a standard US Letter with no border should print it properly. If not, feel free to e-mail me and I can see if I can mail it to you in a different format. 🙂

This is a super cute bag! Do you have any tips on printing the pattern when part of it appears to be cut off? On page two, the exterior flap accent is cut off :\

To be totally honest I’ve never had any interest in sewing bags but this is so cute I’m going to have to try it!!!!
