Summer Sewing! Isn’t it an absolute delight to sew up a new summer skirt, and then to wear it in the sunshine the very next day?! Kelley Gilbert from Casa Crafty is back with her monthly look at online sewing trends. What are you sewing this month? You can look through all of Kelley’s recent trends posts here.

Find Kelley on Etsy, Instagram and Facebook.

Are you sewing for Dads? Are sleeveless tops and dresses on your wish list? What are you sewing lately?

Summer is here! When the heat starts rising we want to bare our arms. With that in mind, I’ve found some great examples of summertime sleeveless handmades!

June always means the end of the school year (in the Northern Hemisphere). After graduations it’s Father’s Day and so, inevitably, June is for “Dads and Grads!” I decided the men in our lives needed some focus, and while several of these projects would be fabulous for the graduate in your life, dads take my focus every time.

I like some nice portable hand sewing in the summer. And lots of sundresses please!

  2. Thanks for featuring my husband in his Space Invaders t-shirt! Ge loves it, so it was worth every stitch.

  3. I’m sewing A-line skirts (mostly the So Sew Easy “Show Some Flare Skirt” ) and tank tops to round out my wardrobe. I also am thinking about some sheer 3/4 length kimono jackets.

Love the Baby doll top Mishmash is testing.Unfortunately, she says she can’t wear a regular bra with it, and that is something I have to be able to do.
