Melinda from Sew Up My Alley has a little building in her backyard, which she refers to as the Picklefish Design Studio.
Melinda’s Picklefish Design Studio
It’s where she stores her fabric stash, sews, quilts, creates patterns and often makes a big mess. She also has a load of UFOs, and WIPs! Melinda’s quilting journey started about 12 years ago, however she has always been around sewing; her mother was a pattern designer and had several garment labels back in the day.
Mainly the creations that Melinda makes under her Picklefish label are sold through boutique stores close to her home, located in a little seaside village on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria, Australia.
Melinda recently published a pattern for her very popular cell phone holder. It is available through her website sewupmyalley, her Etsy shop and Craftsy. Learn more about Melinda on her Sew Up My Alley blog, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
