From Mary Claire:
Hello, my name is Mary Claire from the blog The SumMary and I love to sew. I enjoy blogging about sewing and making all kinds of stuff. So this means I also find myself blogging about knitting, gardening, baking, thrifting and the holidays. I love to be creative . It is fun to see something you imagine come to life in your very own hands. I’m so excited to be included in the 10th annual Handmade Holidays. I’ve been reading this blog since I began sewing over 10 years ago! It played a huge part in me teaching myself to sew and has served as a great source for inspiration. So, now I get to share some things that might just inspire you as well.
Rolled Hem Tassel Wrap
This Tassel Wrap makes use of tassels and voile. It gives a sophisticated look that keeps her looking professional while adding a sense of fun.
Ten Minute Laptop Sleeve
This laptop sleeve can conceal her computer in the most stylish of ways and it only takes 10 mins to sew up!
Peek-A-Boo Pleated Hem
Want to add an adorable look to her killer wardrobe? Sew her up one of these skirts to help her keep her feminine style while closing the deal.
Vintage Sheet Robe
When she’s ready to take some time off to kick back and relax you’ll want to sew up up one of these robes to help keep her comfortable while she takes some time out for herself.
The Safari Duffle
This duffle bag would be an excellent way for her to keep all her gym essentials at the office. That way when she has time to hit the gym all she has to do is grab this bag and go! Sew this up in a brightly colored canvas to give this traditional style bag a fresh new look.
Easy DIY Market Tote
Help her bring home the bacon in style with this simple tote. Fill it with some of her favorite treats and this would be a gift any girl boss would love.
Seersucker and Leather Foldover Clutch
Make this bag up in a dressy version out of linen and leather for that business lunch or try this seersucker version for relaxed weekend with the girls.
