Super Duper Skirt! By: Figgys on 03/30/2011 09:44:02 PM Pros: everything Loved the pattern and I made the skirt as a gift and it fit my sister perfectly! Very clear and well written instructions too. |

My favorite skirt! By: bookgeekgirl on 02/18/2011 11:19:41 AM Pros: pleats are adorable, fit is perfect This skirt is wonderful! The design is cute and it is just so well put-together. I love the pleats and contrast fabrics. Pattern is very, very easy to follow, even for a relatively new seamstress like myself. I've made two of these skirts at this point, and get TONS of compliments every time I wear them. The invisible zipper was a bit of a challenge the first time, but I think that's more my inexperience than the pattern. I did need to find a tutorial online to help me sort out how to do that. The second time I made it, I used contrast-color bias tape on the hem and waistline for a little extra pop of color, and I love how that turned out. |
