Interfacing

    Interfacing
    on: March 06, 2009, 08:28:59 AM
I am new to sewing (been with it for three weeks) and need some serious help with interfacing. I tried to make a skirt with appliques and it called for interfacing on the back of the designs. But my interfacing came off while I was sewing the design on the skirt.

Are there brands that are better than others? And this may sound silly but is it the smooth or rough side the faces the fabric? Or did I not hold the iron long enough to attached properly?

    Thanks!
