    I finished a bunch of letter sacks for my daughter this week. They're wonderful playthings (basically a bean bag or sorts...except filled with long-grain rice) and graced with colorful letters. A great destash project! Blogged about them at

        Those are beautiful.  I've been thinking about various letter objects I can make for manipulatives in starting to read.  This gives me a great idea!

          This would make a great birthday gift for young kids, from just learning letters to learning to read!  Great idea.

                  What a great little project. So easy and fun. This would be cute for the boys or for a gift at a bday party! Very Cute!
