One of the blogs that I follow is
http://freemotion-kate.blogspot.com/2009/03/3-down-77-to-go.html . It's a sweet little blog and she is getting married this summer. She is making 10 inch square napkins for her wedding that she plans to sew into a quilt after the wedding. I thought that it could be extra meaningful if other sewers/quilters/bloggers could make a square for her and send it. Then not only would she be wrapped in a quilt of love from the attendees from her wedding, but also all of us out here who are bonded by our love for fabric and the needlecrafts....
I don't know what her fabric line/colorway is.... she describes it in another post as "turquoisy" colors. I posted a comment on her blog about contributing to the napkin/quilt, so hopefully she will reply to the post with her fabric choice. She does not know that I am posting this here, I just thought that if I were in her position I would think that the quilt would have such extra special meaning.... Just a thought. Mary in Virginia
