I took a class in high school, after trying to design and hand-sew clothes for my dolls and myself.  After school, I just kept reading books on sewing, and making up my own patterns.  Smiley

Youtube.  Grin I took an interest in sewing so my Mom bought a sewing machine for me for my birthday.  I tried to sew a tutu for my youngest daughter and stuck it back in the box.  A year later I bought her a Christmas outfit for a pageant we had coming up.  I didn't like the pants.  So I looked it up on youtube and away I went.  So my first really big thing was the ruffle pants.  During that time I have sewn several pj pants, a dress and a casual wear outfit. My husband bought me a serger for Christmas and I could really use some info on it.  All I can find on youtube is how to thread it.
