Heather Ross goldfish in bags, goldfish, gnomes, anyone?

I am looking for these fabrics to buy at a reasonable price, anyone have anything from her lightening bug collection or can you suggest somewhere to buy it?

Heather Ross' older collections are getting difficult to find..I'm thinking that if you REALLY want it, it may not be a reasonable price anymore. Ebay always seems to have someone selling hard to find fabrics... I'd keep checking. You could also do a search at www.quiltshops.com - it's a search engine for a large group of fabric shops. Good luck... let us know if you find a large stash of it somewhere... after you've put in your order, of course! ;-)

I bought some goldfish yesterday on blue, but I'm in Australia so the prices are substantially higher than in the US. ($22 AUD / meter)  You can check at Fred The Needle www.fredtheneedle.com

This might be a dumb question, but why are the gnomes so much harder to find than the fish?  (even though they're all getting scarce!)  Did the gnomes come out earlier or in a smaller quantity?

That fabric is officially adorable! I can think of about a hundred uses for it!

I have a local store that has a few bolts of the goldfish in bag

I had used it in the shop a few times - seriously nice and super soft.

I'm in Australia which doesn't help, but I'm happy to come to some arrangement to organise and ship for you what I can get my hands on.  The price is Aus$6 per metre (which I think is just over a yard on conversion) which is about $US4 but you would need to add postage which would be about $US4 to $US7.

For anyone hoping to get the $6/m goldfish, I've found out the hardway that it's massively misprinted. It's out by about half a centimeter. It's only good for the trash bin sadly.

I'm sorry Amy.  I don't understand what happened.  Are you saying that the $6/m goldfish is a scam or that the fabric is only printed on half of the bolt...?

Hi, it was me who bought fabric and NO it isn't a scam, hand on heart.  It is the end of a bolt and some of the goldfish are out of the lines 1mm or so and some of the color is not as saturated as the original.  I didn't realise when I bought it and it isn't massively misprinted.  The bloomers in the picture are made from the same material.  Won't sell it, but I'll still use it for my little boy though!

It defintely wasn't a scam. The seller is kind, generous and thoughtful. Unfortunately, the fabric itself was a massive misprint. I've put pictures up on my blog for those who are wondering. (badskirt.blogspot.com)  I have no ill-will at all to the seller, she was very kind and considerate! I'm just a tad shocked that the fabric made it out the factory. My husband even picked up on it without my prompting that there was a problem.
