Bo-Peep Skirt

I made my daugher the Bo-Peep Skirt from Anna Maria Horner's book Seams to Me.  It was a fun skirt and one I would like to make again, with a couple of modifications.  The ruffles were a bit too wide for a 3 year old.  I wish I had thought to make them narrower when I was cutting things out.  Next time.  I also had a chance to use Alexander Henry's "Apples and Pears" material which I have been enjoying seeing in everyone else's projects.

I have been holding onto this book ever since I checked it out of the library.  That skirt is so cute! I love that fabric. Every time I look at it it makes me smile. Fabulous job!

I had to get the book through interlibrary loan at my library and I waited for it for weeks....probably a couple of months.   Have any of you tried the ball?  It looks so neat and I am sure that the baby would adore playing with it but it also looks like a project that I might want to throw out the window half way through!

The skirt is sooooo cute.  I'm going looking for that book too!
