Lockstitch?

    I've also been having trouble with using the elastic thread. Can anyone explain the lockstitch to me? Using a scrap piece and playing with the tension would probably help me. thanks!

      check out this link, the term lockstich (as I had never heard before this, and reading the book Weekend sewing, there is a detailed description of this term within it, as it pertains to sewing with elastic thread)

        Lockstitch is stitch pretty much all home sewing machines make to sew. If you are trying to shir, check out this:
