Ugh, did a stupid thing!

    Ugh, did a stupid thing!

I took advantage of Jo-Ann's 5 for $5 Simplicity patterns this weekend, and just now I was looking at the patterns I got, and realized that THEY COME IN DIFFERENT SIZES.  I didn't even pay attention; I just grabbed the first ones I found and went!  Oh well...I'm sure they'll let me exchange.  Smiley

So funny.  I only recently started sewing garments; before that, it was all curtains and housewares one-size-fits-all kind of stuff.  Live and learn.  Smiley

I did the same thing on a dress.  I bought the pattern for my hips and realized that I needed the smaller sized pattern for my waist and bust.  So I went and bought the smaller pattern and just for kicks re-measured myself and realized that that I didn't need the smaller pattern after all.

I've done it before too but I ended up going back & just buying the bigger size. It was a good thing I bought the smaller one though as the pattern ran super big. Then I saved the bigger one until Caitlin grows.
