new to machine quilting - help!?

new to machine quilting - help!?
    on: June 17, 2009, 03:46:28 PM
i'm usually a handquilter and i just did my first machine-quilted quilt - a 22inch mini quilt.  i had played a teeny bit on some scraps first and liked the stippling i did, but when i did the mini quilt, the bottom stitches were not as tight as i would have hoped for.  i can't follow a drawn line very well yet, but the stipple worked.  i need more practice before i machine quilt something big.

    any suggestions?

Lots ans lots of practice is the best advice I can give. Find the fabric/thread/tension combination that works well for you and practice. And have fun!
