Simplicity Serge Pro SW432 Serger - Newbie

Simplicity Serge Pro SW432 Serger - Newbie
    on: August 06, 2008, 12:34:49 PM
Would you buy a Simplicity Serge Pro SW432 Serger for $50?
I'm interested in owning my own serger. I'm a beginner and it seems like a good price for learning on. I can't find any pricing info on it because it's discontinued.
Let me know what you think. Thanks!

$50 for a serger seems WAY too cheap to me.  I would either find a used one or save a little until you can spend more.  I know that there are great sergers out there starting around $200.
If you settle for a cheap machine, it will cause more headache than what it's worth.  I've know people who buy one, try to work with it, then get so frustrated that they give up.  Then you're out $50 and don't have anything to show for it.
