Okay, this is an embarrassing question, especially given that this is my first post as a forum member, but is freezer paper the same thing as wax paper? If not, is freezer paper in the same section at the grocery store as wax paper, plastic wrap, foil, etc?
Don't worry- your question is probably something others have wondered about as well!
But no, wax paper isn't the same as freezer paper. Freezer paper is white, has a paper-side and a shinny side and is usually wider than wax paper. You can use a pencil/pen to trace your pattern on the paper side, then iron it on with the shiny side down on the fabric. It usually is not over by the wax paper, cling wrap and aluminum foil, but can almost always be found next to the canning supplies.
