Hi, can any one help? Jones sewing machine.

My mum has a Jones sewing machine in the loft. It's in the original box with the receipt and old warranty papers. The receipt says it was bought in 1954 and it hasn't been used for at least 25 years. It's in mint condition. If possible I would like some infomation about it please. Thanks Jon

If you google Jones sewing machine it brings up tons of links!  Even a historical account of the conception of the machine.  I did find this info on a site that is in the US.  I've never heard of the brand otherwise and have never used one so I'm sorry I couldn't give you any really helpful info!
