    Yea!  Grin  I'm a happy woman! 
    I found a "used" Janome MyLock 744D that's never been taken out of the box on kijiji.
    I'll go get some thread tomorrow and maybe I'll get something done next week.

      Congratulations!!!!! Sergers are a wonderful thing.  My mom recently gave me one she was not using and my life has never been the same.  Things go so much faster and look more professional.  Happy Serging!

        Congrats!  a friend of mine gave me her serger...its a Singer 14u 52a.  she'd never used it.  I dutifully read through the manual but I'm still afraid to turn it on!  LOL.

                  You will have so much fun! I love my Brother 1034D & I stared at for 2 months without using it-afraid to mess it up. I'm so glad I got over that!! Congrats!!
