A summer top

    A summer top

    This is my version of the sweet chemise from Simple Sewing with a French Twist.  The ties in the original pattern didn't cover my undergarment straps, so I drafted these sleeves instead.  There are more details on my blog.

        That top is really cute.  I like the sleeves you added.  That is much better than the little straps.  I don't usually wear those kinds of tops, because I don't like the bra strap showing look at all.  This is a great alternative.  I will go to your blog and read about it.  Thanks for posting a great idea.

          This looks great - well done!  And good for you for adjusting the pattern (I personally always find that I bit intimidating).
