Ottobre Sundress

All the rain we have had lately has kept me inside and sewing!  This is the first time I have used an Ottobre pattern - it was a really simple dress, but I could have used an explanation on hemming the armholes.  I ended up clipping the seams to make a nice smooth hem, but then I wonder about the raw edges where I clipped - is there another way to do this?  Either way, I'm happy with the finished product.  And, of course, I wrote about it on the new blog http://laundryontheline.wordpress.com

That so beautiful. You could always use a single fold bias tape & flip to the inside & stitch. I've found that to be very easy & look nice.

Nice job!  I agree, bias tape can make a nicely finished opening.

Adorable! Amen on the armholes, not my favorite thing to sew but bias tape can finish them nicely.
