Memory is such a great game (I spent hours playing this back when I was a preschool teacher) - and a handmade version is even better.  Thanks for sharing the tutorial!

What a lovely idea!  Thanks for sharing this with us all. Is it ok to use your idea for local craft/fundraising stalls?  I thought I could embroider some for our guild shop. Thanks. Barb.

Thanks for sharing this great idea.  It is great to have something new to give as baby or toddler gifts.  I liked the letters and numbers you made also.

What a wonderful idea! I'm planning on making all my Christmas gifts this year and this would be a perfect one for my friend's son, and my son for that matter! Thanks!

I found this fabulous fabric that just cried out to be use for the memory game! So here is a photo of the end product. I bought about 30cm of the fabric and that had 9 different pirates repeated 4 times  (with 3 remaining so I could use a spare on the bag)  So I was able to make 2 sets and 2 little bags.  There was only a small margin between each picture so just to be safe, I sewed the inner frame too.   They were fun to make and I have found some butterflies, turtles and cats to make up into more sets for gifts.  I tried the pirates out on a 2 year old yesterday and it was a sucess!  Thanks for posting the idea.    Barb.

I am loving this idea.  What a great idea for that hard to find "sewing for a boy" project.  Nice.

I made a bunch of fabric memory sets last year for gifts. But I did the old sew, turn, press, then stitched close. It took forever, LOL. Your way of finishing them is so much better!
