Christmas Stockings

I just posted pictures of the Christmas stockings that I have made for our family on my blog:  http://duringquiettime.blogspot.com/2009/08/handmade-christmas-stockings.html.  I was reminded of them because of Sew, Mama, Sew's handsewing month.  I didn't hand sew them exclusively but did add a lot of hand sewn touches.  All of the recent handsewing posts have inspired me to start my baby's Christmas stocking.  I am working on it now and will post pictures when it is complete.  It too will combine machine and hand sewing. 

They are all so pretty! Thats such a nice tradition. I can't wait to see the baby's stocking.

The stockings are lovely.  What a special keepsake, too. Great job!
