girls dress pattern-feedsack/vintage

I am looking for a pattern with a vintage feel for my girls (US size 7 and 8.)  The dress I have in mind would be a feedsack print with solid trim, buttons, and in general look like the handmade dresses my grandmother would have worn at age 8.

The girls are very fond of US History during the Depression Era and would love to have  feedsack-style dress.   There is a movie out called Kit Kitteredge An American Girl that my girls just love to watch over and over partly for the story and and partly for the costumes.  Perhaps it is odd for their age, but I am proud of their interest in history and the sewer in me loves that they pay attention to costuming and details on dresses. 

If anyone knows where I could buy a vintage pattern or perhaps has seen some current patterns with this vintage feel to them I would greatly appreciate it!  I am hoping to surprise them for Christmas.

I was able to view patterns in this database using the name: guest and code: pattern. It will let you view the front and back of the pattern package and view cutting pieces, but looks like you have to subscribe to get the full pattern. It may give you some ideas or specific pattern numbers to look for. There are thousands of patterns to  look through. Hope this helps!

I found a blog post that was also seeking a pattern for the Kit Kittredge dress.  In her comments #3 gives some good advice to make your own pattern or alter another that you may have on hand.
