Is there a better foot for sewing knits?

Is there a better foot for sewing knits?

I've been using my standard foot when I sew knits on my machine, but I'm wondering if there's a better choice.  I don't have tension issues or skipped stitches, but when I sew hems, my needle loves to pull the hem off towards the right, making the hem rather uneven or I end up having skipped sitches because I'm monkeying with the fabric to keep it from wandering.  Any thoughts?

I use the walking foot. I have also put a piece of tissue paper, that seems to help sometimes.
