I love sewing pajamas, and I can't wait to see all the PJs that everyone else sews!  I finished up my first pair for the sew-along last night, and they've already been worn and put in the wash!  I blogged about them here:  http://fishsticksandfries.com/blog/?p=272.

Awesome!  I finished some pajamas from a vintage pattern a couple of weeks ago.  There's a robe I want to make, but I have to grade down the pattern which will probably be a project that won't be finished by the end of this sew along.

I just stumbled across this Sew-along and decided I would give it a try....I was very excited and have made 3 pairs since! Smiley My first pair I blogged about here:

          This was very fun!

I've got a ton of old sheets waiting to be made into something, and this sounds perfect.  I haven't decided between the Heather Ross Weekend Sewing's version or the Amy Butler In Stitches' version.  I'm not normally a matchy-matchy kind of gal, but it might be fun to make some for my daughter, too.

I am so happy about this sew along. I have been collecting vintage sheets for a while now just for the purpose of making PJs for my daughters. So far I have made one short set, one long one in a light cotton and a long one in soft cozy flannel.
Blogged about it here: http://kindershoponline.blogspot.com/2009/09/pajama-party.html and here: http://kindershoponline.blogspot.com/2009/06/good-night-mom-good-night-pop.html

I love pajamas  Grin and I just uploaded my picture os the ones I made in July. I made two pairs of shorts, one tank (because it was trouble), and long sleeve/pant with slippers.

                http://thekitchenexperiments.blogspot.com/2009/09/pajamas-are-my-favorite-thing.html

I'm currently working on turning my huge pile of receiving blankets, that my 2 year old obviously outgrew, into a set of flannel PJs with the kwik sew pattern.  I am adding cuffs because my son has already gained at least an inch or the fabris shrunk... either way I thought it would be wise to have a cuff that can be unrolled.  I also am doing a separate waist band instead of rolling the top down.  That was painstaking.

Also waiting on my to do list is a fleece robe and footed sleeper from the same print.  I have purchased for my older son but he has outgrown my pattern too quick so now my little son gets two items from the yardage.  And for my daughter ... I promissed her a fleece robe but haven't gone to get the fabric.  I'm going to try my hand at drafting that pattern from the instructions in Sew What! Fleece.

How did you do the top?  I haven't mastered that yet.  Last time I did a pull over top my son's head didn't fit and I had to add a zipper.  I'd love some tips.

Here are my pajamas.  They are from a vintage Butterick pattern.  There is more about them on my blog: http://emadethis.wordpress.com/2009/09/15/flashback-time/.

Alrighty!  Five pairs gives us a new fall/winter set of pajamas.  I ordered long-sleeve tees from Dharma Trading for the tops, and made up a pattern with these cuffs so I'm hoping they'll fit for awhile.  I used flat felled seams for the first time and love how professional they look (again, maybe they'll actually last this way).  Here are a couple (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kitchentablemama/3924381454/) from stash fabrics.  This was fun!  Some for me next...

Great pj's Beth!  I love the idea of the hems to grow with the child.
