Hi All
Well I just bought 70 yards of Nylon chiffon and 8 yards of satin.
AFC-express had free shipping on orders over $100 so I spent $155 to save the shipping

I have a ruffler foot, straight stitch sewing machine, and a serger.
I love to sew

I mostly repair my wife and kids cloths, make alterations, and curtains.
As an engineer I love the idea of taking a 2 dimensional material and making a 3 dimensional finished product.
I have 2 boy and 1 princess (Gigi)
Gigi is 3 and I have fallen in love with buying beautiful clothes for her.
I spend hours on ebay looking for deals on couture dresses.
Luckily for me the boy are happy with a new video game or 2 a month so they don’t feel too slighted on the money spent on Gigi. I have the boys and I believing that after Gigi grows out of her dresses I will ebay them back out. As they were mostly bought on ebay I think I will be able to get 60 to 80% of what I paid back.
I was looking for a used Kaiya Eve on ebay and found them going for more than a new knockoff

. I saw the Martha Stewart piece on the internet and that stared my research.
My goal in my hobby of buy clothes for Gigi and in some cases my wife is to get the outfit for 25% or less of retail.
My logic is that Gigi can wear a $100 silk dress as every day wear if I only paid $25 for it.

In order to lessen the wear and tear on these expensive cloths she has lots (she has the largest closet in the house and it is overflowing).
Besides it is fun shopping for the cloths and seeing my daughter looking beautiful.
Wish me luck

Thanks for all the info.
If I can’t pull it off some one going to get a deal on a pile of chiffon LOL
