Amy Butler The Liverpool

Has anyone made this yet?  I love the looks of it, but I want to know how it fits.  I made the Sun/Surf Halter this summer, and it was blousy.  Then I made one of the tunics, and it was tight through the shoulders.

I don't think it has come out yet.  It does look super cute though!

I made this shirt this fall.  I am petite, and went with the 3/4 sleave, and the smallest size - and it fit perfectly.  Though, seeing as my arms aren't 3/4 the size of the average woman, I think the regular sleave may end up a tad long.  Here is my blog, and I have this shirt on it:

I have the pattern but haven't sewn it up yet. I'm endlessly obsessing about what fabric to use. Your version is really cute JulieL.

I'm just working on cutting the pieces to do a muslin from this pattern. I'm tall and lanky so I normally have to make adjustments so I always start with a muslin. I'm sure I'll post once I'm done.

I finally sewed mine last weekend. I made the tunic with 3/4 length sleeves. It was fairly easy to make, I would consider myself about intermediate in sewing skills. I like how the covered buttons and top stitching give it a finished look. I did find completing the sleeve cuff instructions a bit confusing since there wasn't a picture for it. Overall I'm very pleased, it seems like a versatile pattern for changing up the look by doing different lengths in the body and sleeves. It fits well also. I made a medium and my measurements are 36/30/40. I was worried about it fitting the hips but it's great on.

JULIE AND SHANNZU excellent job on the tunic!  Maybe I will get better at clothes someday.  I made my first skirt and it came out fairly well if I do say so myself.  Took longer than expected----2 days, but I DID IT!

Keep loving clothes and you will keep inspiring others!
