Jennifer, Your handy walker bag was great! Thanks for the tutorial. On my NEXT bag, I will make the pockets on both sides. I was able to put all the items I'd hoped in a bag for my cousin, nail clippers, file, polish, notes, pens, dental floss, hairbrush, lotion, instant hand soap, etc. BUT as it was my first attempt and before I saw your great suggestions, the three sections of pocket made the bag much longer than it should have been.
Dear mrsp, I pray your son has recovered well from his surgery. I solved the slippage by sewing the mesh rubber shelving liner onto the insides of the straps and attached them with Velcro long ways so they would have some adjustability.
I think the bag would be great if it is transferable from bed to wheelchair to walker. I wished I'd taken a photo, the hospital has asked if I could sew some for their gift shop! In my spare time.
