Anyone else sewing Halloween costumes?

I've been limping along this week in the house of sick but I did finish both costumes and took "a" picture before the camera batteries pooped out. Sorry it's so blurry. I've already posted the leopard kitty. My son was Mario, the video game character. I made the hat and overalls from stash fleece and denim, purchased the sweatshirt at Goodwill for $1.99 and the white gloves were a happy find at the bottom of a box of stuff I was about to give away! For the humungo yellow buttons I used a covered button kit, love those things.

I've actually had mine finished for a while now, but just got around to taking pictures the other day.

          Here is my crew:

(Check out my Flickr page where there's more information on each costume.)

These were all done weeks ago and were the easiest costumes I've ever made.

I'm just glad that even though he can't tell me what he wanted to be with his voice, he let me know other ways.
