How to wash "glittery" fabric?

I bought some new fabric and received it in the mail, so I didn't get a chance to read the manufacturers recommended cleaning method. It's Alexander Henry Calaveras cotton fabric and has a small amount of gold glitter on the material. I'm sure not if that's the right term

How do you wash and dry this for best results?

I found that if you wash it in warm water and tumble dry with no heat or low heat, it washes well.
