Those Quilting for Peace projects all sound very interesting! I especially like the Grocery Bag Sew-Off.

I'd love to be a part of the crew! I've already requested a kit form Quilt for Kids for both myself and my mom. We have also worked with Quilts of Valor before because my entire family is military. You wouldn't believe the impact a quilt can have on a wounded soldier or a family who has lost their soldier! Quilting/Sewing for a cause is awesome!

Quilting or stitching for peace sounds just fab.  I look forward to getting involved. Smiley

I'd love to join the team. Especially the grocery bag one; although the quilts sound good too. We have something like that locally called Project Linus.

This is funny. I few months ago I was talking to an old roommate of mine and discovered that while I can make quilt tops but have yet to learn to actually quilt, she has a quilting machine. She offered to quilt anything I made, but I haven't sent her anything yet. Yesterday I was thinking if I made some quilt tops, sent them to her to have her finish them, we could give them to our church's Humanitarian effort. And now you pop up with this! Wonderful! Thanks! Count me in!
