I love this idea. I have been making morsbags for a few years now, infact I couldn't sew at all before I started making morsbags. It is a great project to be involved in and a wonderful way to spread the word through local communities. Thank you to sewmamasew team for featuring this great idea.

I also love the idea of the quilts,I will attempt my first quilt top after the holidays... wish me luck.

After reading the post on Wrap them in Love I think I can quickly turn a few blocks that I have made to practice piecing methods into a quilt (or a quilt top, I like that option) if I combine them with some solid blocks. I had no idea what to do with the practice blocks, but this seems perfect!

Update: I finished a quilt top and will send that off to Wrap Them in Love. I hope they will turn it into a finished quilt!

              Good Morning!

I have enough scrap around the house I can get a quilt top together.  I, unfortunately, can't quilt it because our budget it tight and I don't have any batting - but I'm definitely in for the Wrap them in Love.

I would be in for the grocery bags, but I have several last minute Christmas projects I'm working on.

I'm in!  I've wanted to get involved in making quilts for charity for awhile now.

Thank you so much for posting about this. I have made quilts for charity before, but didn't know where to help in MA. Thanks to your post, I'll be headed to the Beloved Quilts group sewing this Saturday.

Count me in.  Sounds like great fun and a great cause.  Nice to have an opportunity to be of service.  This will force me to finish up my holiday projects so I can add this one to the list.

I'll definitely be sending a few quilt tops to them!  If Santa brings me a new machine for Christmas, I may even try to quilt it myself!  Count me in!

I'm not sure if I'll finish a quilt by the deadline but I'll work on one and send it when I do finish.  (I'm a slow quilter).

Count me in for grocery bags!  I've already been making myself (and family) a stash of them.  I'm not very good at quilting yet, but maybe my skills can be honed on some charity quilts...

Count me in for the bag sew-off.  I will look at the wrap a quilt and see about that one, too!

I'll give this challenge a shot.  It's a real busy time of the year, but I think I can squeeze at least 5 bags from the salvaged material I have laying around.
