Quilting for Peace Team SMS

Love, love, love this idea.  Thank you for pushing along this effort!  Cannot wait to get started.  In fact, I have a few WIPs that would be great kids quilts.....

I so what to help with all but, we just sold our house and are moving in the next couple weeks. I think I can manage with the Green Bag Lady. I know I really need to make some for myself, as a family of seven we use more than our fair share of plastic bags and I hate it. I'll also work on making some to share with nieghbors old in new(it is Christmas time).

I'm in for making a quilt!  I think that the Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild might want to join in too.  I'll see how many quilts can come from us.

thanks SMS for joining this!  i joined katherine's "quilting for peace" campaign back in september on her blog and on flickr.  my main source of peace quilting is making quilts of valor and i'm currently finishing my 5th for the year.  pictures of all of them are on the flickr group.

I have a Quilting For Kids kit already so, I'm in!

Charities for needy children around the world have always had a special place in my heart and all the charities I donate to are children related.  So I'm definitely interested in Wrap Them in Love, I'm reading and learning more about the organization right now.  Thank you for this great initiative!

I fell in love with Katherine Bell's book when I came across it at the bookstore last week. I've been looking for a way to participate in sharing warm, nurturing gifts to those in need but didn't have access to a local group. SewMamaSew is the perfect medium for that. Thank you for arranging this team! I am ready to sew!
