I have made 11 bags so far.  For the life of me I can't figure out how to post pictures on this forum.  So in order to see my bags you will have to hop over to my blog at:

It's a blurry photo, but it's none-the-less a photo of a handmade bag full of food dropped at the local Salvation Army food panty.
To avoid the grocery store, I loaded the bag with goods from my pantry; I'm a little lazy.
         Cool
        Happy Holidays!

i don't have any morsbag labels yet, but i'm working on it...

so far i have made 8 bags. 2 have already been handed out to friends (and are hopefully being used in san antionio now), and the remaining 6 shall be given out for christmas.

there are reversable bags (with recycled fabric inside), in case people don't like the dutch theme. Wink

I've made 7 bags; 5 using Irene's tote pattern and 2 using the Moda Boutique Shopper tutorial.  Thanks for sharing the great tutorials.  I cleaned out my home dec fabric stash and will be making more Smiley These will be gifts this Christmas. I wish I'd take a picture of the Boutique Shoppers - they were fabulous!

I made five bags.  picture in the following link only shows two because the other three were wrapped for presents.  I used the pattern from "One yard Wonders"

I'm not sure if these guys count, but I made 5 half size bags from the Green Bag Lady pattern as gift bags for presents for my son's friends.

I also made 3 full size bags to give as gifts.

All these lovely bags...great job everyone!

I just finished 10 bags to use as Christmas stocking stuffers. My original plan was to repurpose nylon shower curtains, but I couldn't find any at our local thrift stores that were strong enough to withstand years of use, or lightweight enough so that the bags can be rolled to a small size. Instead, I opted for ripstop nylon. The bags are roomy, and have a box bottom, yet roll up to about 1" x 4" so they can easily fit in a purse or glove compartment. (If I don't keep a bag or two in my purse, I never remember to bring them in the store!)

This has been such a fun project that I'm going to make more after the holidays are over. It will be fun to give them away. Happy sewing, everyone!

Finally finished five!  I actually tried all 3 tutorials and then kind of came up with my own thing.  All 5 are going to be filled with groceries tomorrow and given to a family in need along with a whole bunch of toys, clothes, and household items.  It's fun to play Santa Claus! Smiley

I made 12 with the help of my 19 mo old. My son(9 yr) was so excited he said now you won't be wasting any plastic Mom. I used the Greenbag Lady pattern.

                              This was fun Thanks.

Here's five more I made.  Two were with a Simplicity tote pattern.  They're lined & have a fleece interlining.  They're much sturdier, but a bit on the small size.  The other three are the Japanese bag pattern I mentioned in my other post.  The photo shows two of them rolled up, and one of them partially folded (starting to roll it up).  Like someone else mentioned, the important thing for me is to remember to take them into the store on quick shopping trips.  So something that is very portable and can fit in my purse helps me use less bags.
